Job Description:

Our client, a financial services organisation, is seeking a Platform Operations Analyst to support the day-to-day stability and accuracy of core operational platforms. This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow their career, and is experienced in operations or systems support with a passion for solving problems, managing data, and ensuring seamless delivery within a regulated environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as a point of contact for daily operational platform queries and support.
  • Conduct routine checks across policy, billing, claims, and configuration activities.
  • Troubleshoot and identify the root causes of operational issues; support resolution with internal teams and third-party suppliers.
  • Assist with platform configuration updates and data validation processes.
  • Monitor ongoing platform performance and escalate recurring or high-risk issues.
  • Generate regular operational reports and assist with developing performance dashboards.
  • Document processes and issue resolutions to promote internal knowledge sharing and consistency.


Experience Required:

  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in operations, systems support, or within the financial services or insurance sector.
  • Hands-on experience with platform-based workflows or technology-enabled operations (beyond manual processing).
  • Strong data handling, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Reliable, well-organised, and capable of managing multiple priorities concurrently.


Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in insurance-related operations, particularly in areas such as policy administration, billing, or claims.
  • Familiarity with regulated or compliance-focused environments.
  • Exposure to supporting platform configuration changes or reporting functions.


Educational Requirements:

  • A third-level degree, ideally in business, IT, finance, or a related discipline.
